We offer an excellent, 120 hour, full-time in-class TEFL course designed with the practicalities of teaching people from different cultures in mind.

 

The course covers all relevant aspects of teaching such as

  • lesson preparation
  • classroom management
  • grammar and phonology
  • teaching practice and observation
  • student profiles
  • teaching techniques
  • language awareness
  • course material
  • assessment and feedback
  • and many more.

Our emphasis is on equipping trainees with the real skills required to teach in the often difficult circumstances they will face in the EFL/ESL industry. General Information

  • Maximum 14 students per class, with a minimum of six
  • Classes run Mondays - Fridays, 8:30 - 15:30/16:00

4 - 29 March 2019

6 - 31 May 2019

18 June - 13 July 2019

2 - 27 September 2019

09 December 2019 - 17 January 2020 (with a two-week break)

Requirements

  • 100% attendance is mandatory
  • National Senior certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • 60% pass in bli English usage test

Application

  1. Complete an English language usage test at Bay Language Institute.
  2. Apply for the course once you pass this test.
  3. Pay the deposit - only then can your enrolment on a course be confirmed.

We operate on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
